Directions Find Your Perfect Oats: Steel Cut Oats are whole grain oats cut into pieces for a hearty and chewy texture that are worth the wait. Oatmeal Preparation: 1 serving; 1 water (cups); 1/4 oats (cups); 2 servings; 2 water (cups); 1/2 oats (cups); 6 servings; 5-1/2 water (cups);1-1/2 oats (cups). Make on Stovetop: 1. Bring water to a boil. 2. Stir oats in slowly. 3. When oatmeal begins to thicken (about 5 minutes), reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for about 25 minutes (or to desired consistency) stirring occasionally. Note: Steel cut oats are best prepared on the stovetop. Microwaving steel cut oats is nood recommended.
