Directions Cooking Instructions: For food safety, follow these cooking instructions, cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer, since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Microwave: 1. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 tablespoons water to entire package of chopped spinach. 2 Microwave covered on high for 4-5 minutes, stirring once. Microwave cooking times vary based on wattage. Above cooking is based on a 1000 watt microwave. Adjust cooking time accordingly. Caution: Microwave dishes may become hot during cooking. Handle with care. Stove Top: 1. Fill a large saucepan with approximately 1 cup of water and bring to a boil. 2. Remove spinach from bag and place into pan and bring to a second boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until spinach is thoroughly cooked. Do not overcook. Drain and season to taste. Caution: Product will be hot. Perishable. Keep frozen. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze after defrosting. Promptly refrigerate leftovers.
