Directions Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards). Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Cooking Instructions: Gas grill: Pre-heat grill on medium-high heat. Remove beef from package and place directly on grill. Cook 6-10 minutes on each side, turning at least twice during cooking. Cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Measure internal temperature with a food thermometer in the thickest portion of the beef. Allow beef filet to rest 3 minutes before serving. Oven: Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove beef filet from packaging and place in shallow pan. Roast for 20 minutes on one side. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F. Turn over beef filet and continue cooking. Cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, measured with a food thermometer in the thickest portion, approximately 20 minutes per pound. Let rest for 3 minutes before serving. Perishable. Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated.
