Chardonnay, Radiance, 2010
Alcohol 13.8% by volume. Monterey County. Our Chardonnay grapes are sourced from very special vineyards in the cooler growing area of Monterey. The unique soils and perfect Chardonnay growing climate allow these grapes to slowly ripen and develop rich varietal characteristics. We then further enhance this wine by using an icy cold fermentation technique, that slows the process to a crawl. Normal fermentation, the process lasts 60 days! This allows the intense fruit; pineapple, grapefruit, mango, kiwi and more, to gush from the glass. We then age this wine in small oak barrels for 10 months to add extra complexity. Enjoy!
