Directions
For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove-Top Directions: 1. Heat 1/2 cup water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add edamame. 2. Cover; reduce heat to medium-high and boil gently 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain). Microwave Directions: Important: Do not microwave in bag. 1. Add edamame to 1-1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. 2. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully; stir. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain). Microwave Wattage: 1200 - Time on High: 3:30 to 4:30; Microwave Wattage: 1000 - Time on High: 4:30 to 5:30; Microwave Wattage: 700 - Time on High: 5:30 to 6:30. (Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended). Keep frozen.
