You'll Need: 3 quart sauce pan; 2 cups water or unsalted stock; 1 or a combination of the following to equal 1 pound: chicken (pre-cooked and cubed), shrimp or crawfish (peel & deveined), ham or smoked sausage (sliced) (optional: 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce or ketchup). 1. Place 2 cups of water, Mam Papaul's Jambalaya mix, meat or seafood in a 3 quart saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil, stir, and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until rice is tender. 3. Remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes, fluff with fork and serve. Makes approximately 8 - 1 cup servings.
