Keep frozen. Cooking Instructions: If frozen, thaw duck in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Strip bag off dock. Remove neck, giblets, and orange sauce packet from body cavity. Rinse duck under cool water. Season to taste. Roast uncovered, breast up, on rack in roasting pan using the following chart: 4 lbs for 1 hr 25 min; 4-1/2 lbs for 1 hr 40 min; 5 lbs for 1 hr 50 min; 5-1/2 lbs for 2 hrs; 6 lbs for 2 hrs 15 min; 6-1/2 lbs for 2 hrs 25 min. Remove from oven when internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F (82 degrees C), measured at the thigh joint. The legs move freely and juices run clear when duck is done. One duck serves 2-4 people.
