Directions Stove Top Instructions: 1. In a medium saucepan add about 5 cups of water and submerge 1 bag of quinoa. (Double the amount of water for 2 bags). 2. Bring water to a boil and boil uncovered for 12-15 minutes. 3. Carefully remove pouch with tongs and allow to drain. 4. Cut bag open and pour contents into a serving dish. 5. Fluff with fork and season as desired. Microwave Instructions: 1. In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl add about 5 cups of water and submerge 1 bag of quinoa. 2. Microwave on high for 15-17 minutes. 3. Carefully remove pouch with tongs and allow to drain. 4. Cut bag open and pour contents into a serving dish. 5. Fluff with fork and season as desired. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. One Bowl Meal Creation Suggestions: Using cooked quinoa as a base, add steamed, roasted or fresh veggies, your choice of cooked protein and top with flavorful sauce or dressing.
