Directions Wash hands before making brittle mix. You Will Need: 1 Stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened (To soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 45-60 minutes, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened) (Not melted). (1) Heat oven to 375 degrees F or 350 degrees F for nonstick pan. (2) Stir brownie brittle mix and butter until dough forms. (Dough may be stiff and need to be blended with hands.) Press brownie brittle dough into 11x12-inch rectangle (about 1/8-inch thick) on ungreased cookie sheet. (3) Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool completely on pan (about 30 minutes). Remove brittle from pan; break into pieces. Store in an air tight container. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
