Do not eat or play with raw product; wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling. Oven Preparation: 1. Combine 2-1/2 qt. (10 cups) boiling water, 4 oz. (1/2 cup) butter or margarine, rice and contents of seasoning packet in 12 inch x 10 inch x 4 inch steamtable pan. Stir well. 2. Cover tightly and bake until all water is absorbed and rice is tender: Convection Oven: 350 F. 25-30 minutes. Conventional Oven: 400 F. 30-35 minutes. 3. Remove from oven; fluff rice lightly with fork before serving. Stove Top Preparation: 1. In an 8-qt. covered pan, bring 2-1/2 qt. (10 cups) water and 4 oz. (1/2 cup) butter or margarine to a boil. 2. Stir in rice and contents of seasoning packet. Cover tightly. Reduce heat and simmer 25-30 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. 3. Remove from heat; fluff lightly with fork before serving. Steamer Preparation: 1. Combine 2-1/2 qt. (10 cups) boiling water, 4 oz. (1/2 cup) butter or margarine, rice and contents of seasoning pan. 12 inch x 10 inch x 4 inch. Stir well. 2. Place uncovered in steamer; cook using 10 pounds pressure 30-35 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. 3. Fluff lightly with fork before serving. Holding: Keep covered on steamtable for up to 5 hours on medium heat (no.5 setting). Serving Suggestions: 1. Use as a stuffing or dressing for bell peppers, cabbage, pork or poultry. 2. Use as a bed for stir-fry or beef stroganoff. 3. Serve as an accompaniment to poultry, seafood, beef and lamb roasts. 4. Substitute for potatoes or pasta. 5. Can be prepared without margarine or butter. Will hold up to 1-1/2 hours.
