Denominazione di Origine Controllata. Classico Superiore. www.frederickwildman.com. Solane is produced from Corvina and Rondinella grapes grown in the heart of Valpolicella Classico area. Following to a careful vinification and a controlled fermentation, it was refermented on fresh marc of partially dried whole grapes to enrich fruity-delicate aromas and to extract softer tannins. The wine is aged in wood for about 15 months. Solane is notable for its rich and full-bodied structure and is suitable for long ageing. Alc. 13.5% by vol. Bottled by Santi SpA S.Pietro in Cariano - VR - Italia. Product of Italy.
